Dynamic Distinction

Dynamic Distinction is a self-sufficient escape-to-nature and ecological vacation spot that is close to the cities highly affected by CoViD’19. The aim is to ensure the continuity of social life with housing, workshop, and social facilities with controlled effects in nature while providing a protected environment with a limited number of people from the pandemic spread by close contact.

Modifiable housing units formed by service units, sleeping units, verandas, and balconies can be also extended with working, dining, and sports pods which increase the flexibility and variability of the spaces. While the house remains hygienic and personal; pods bring the offered activities to the housing units. After each use, the housing unit returns to the warehouse and is divided into units and after hygienic processes gets ready for the new visitors.

The workshops that move on the social axis have a daily movement to enable the cleaning process by returning to the warehouse after each use. The plug-in spaces to the existing or already placed structure via the social axis rail are also temporary. Restaurant and sports facilities are mostly stable forms like the warehouse but since the capacity is not fixed in the project, they have portable extensions that can be provided in case of need.
